At SparKy, we not only want to get animals into loving homes, we also want to keep them there.
Spaying and neutering saves lives. Period. The number of unwanted and homeless animals decreases, euthanasia rates decrease, and the health benefits to your animal and the community are numerous. We've teamed up with Friends of the Shelter (FOTS) in Ohio County, Kentucky to provide low-cost spay and neuter services
The rising cost of taking care of a pet forces some to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome their beloved cat or dog. We want animals to stay in loving homes. The SparKy Community Pet Food Pantry can provide resources to those in need.
Opening soon at 1722B Sweeney Street in the Thatch Shopping Center, we’re blending cozy coffee vibes with cuddly, adoptable cats to create a one-of-a-kind experience.

From fostering in your home to cleaning kennels and cages at our rescue center, to helping at events and fundraisers, there's something for everyone. Those under 18, will need parental permission, and those under 14 need to be accompanied by a responsible adult. Check our our volunteer page for more information.
